There are several ways to import:

• From Files app: Tap a .piqo file in the Files app — Piqo Player will open and import it automatically.
• Document picker: Open the Import tab in Piqo Player and tap "Select Files" to choose photos, videos, or ZIP archives.
• ZIP archives: Select a .zip file containing photos and videos. Piqo Player will extract and import the media.

Photos: JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, GIF, BMP

Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI, MKV, WebM, M4V

Archives: ZIP, .piqo (encrypted media packages)

For security reasons, there is no PIN recovery mechanism. If you forget your PIN, you will need to delete and reinstall the app. All imported media will be lost.

We recommend storing a backup of your PIN in a secure password manager.

No. Piqo Player works entirely offline. It never connects to the internet, doesn't send analytics, and doesn't require an account. All your data stays on your device.

A .piqo file is an encrypted media package. It contains photos or videos encrypted with AES-256-GCM. Only Piqo Player can decrypt and display the contents.

Yes. Once you set up a PIN, you can enable biometric unlock (Face ID or Touch ID) in Settings > Security. This provides a faster way to unlock the app while keeping your media protected.

Long-press an album on the home screen and select "Hide". Hidden albums won't appear on the main screen. To access them, go to Settings > Hidden Albums and enter your PIN.

Piqo Player stores media in the app's private sandbox. This data is included in your device's iCloud/iTunes backup if you have backups enabled. We do not provide our own cloud backup service.
